Sean Hannity Listing Centre Island Estate for $13.75 Millon

Media personality Sean Hannity has decided to take the southward trek to Florida, and has placed his longtime waterfront estate on Centre Island, on the market.
Hannity’s Centre Island estate sits on 6 waterfront acres, and is priced at $13.75 million.
Hannity made news headlines during his IHeart radio show, broadcasting from “the free state of Florida” he said. The policies of the Sunshine States’ conservative political environment fit Hannity’s values far more than the liberal-leaning “blue” state of New York, he said.
The Centre Island property is being marketed by Shawn Elliot, president of The Ultra Luxury Division at Nest Seekers International with his colleague Zachary Elliot. Hannity purchased the home in 2008 for a reported $10 million.
According to the listing, the seven bedroom home is a 10,674-square-foot Colonial, built in 2005. The home has “500 feet of bay frontage and an 81-foot private dock.” The kitchen contains "marble counter tops and a professional-grade gas range."
“The gated grounds contain a swimming pool, a tennis court, a par-3 golf course and a separate putting green," according to the listing.
Hannity is joining a migration of wealthy figures who are leaving over-regulated and over-taxed New York, for the lower taxes, more freedom, and safe neighborhoods of Florida.
Over the past decade, over 2 million New Yorkers have left the state – virtually depopulating many small towns and communities in upstate New York. By contrast, the population of Florida has increased by almost 4 million, making Florida the third largest state in America, after Texas and California.
