Saladino Announces “Winter Golf” in Woodbury

Winter Golf is now available at the Town of Oyster Bay’s Joseph Colby Golf Course in Woodbury, which will remain open to residents throughout the winter.

 

Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino announced that the Town Golf Course shall be open from Tuesdays through Sundays (on Mondays the Course will be closed) from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, weather permitting.

 

“Following the extensive upgrades and improvements to our course completed this past summer, we are proud to announce that the Golf Course will remain open this winter,” stated Supervisor Joe Saladino. “Residents may enjoy this scenic and challenging 18-hole championship course all year round.”

 

The Golf Course front office will open up as early as 7:00 AM and all golf carts must be returned by no later than 4:00 PM sharp.

 

Golfers who seek to join the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course, can submit their applications for membership to the golf course on Tuesdays through Sundays during the hours of 9AM to 3PM. Membership shall remain only through the end of the calendar year in which the members apply.

 

For membership, golfers are required to provided proof of residence which includes: Photo Identification (Driver’s License, DMV Photo ID or Passport); and Car Registration, Tax Bill or Utility Bill. However, golfers who are non-TOB residents may still join for an additional fee.

There is a five dollar ($5) fee per player which is applied at time of reservation. Senior citizens are offered discounts. In addition, military personal and veterans are treated to play for free on Veterans Day.
