Receiver of Taxes requires honest government, not political patronage jobs and cronyism. On that count, the incumbent Democrat has been a big disappointment. The Republican challenger, Stacy Colamussi is a 35 year resident of Huntington, where she currently serves as the Deputy Town Clerk. Colamussi has been credited with professionalism and fairness - working during both Republican and Democratic town governments.
